Unitary RTU - CostGard Installation Drawing

Installation of the CostGard™ Condensate Drain Seal requires three basic pipe connections. In addition to the condensate drain connection, two other pipe connections are necessary. One pipe must enter the drain pan compartment and the other must enter the supply air plenum or supply air duct. The position of these connection points illustrated as Point A and Point B in Figure 1, influence the installation in a very important way. For each installation, the piping must be routed to avoid interference with access panels or doors.  Figure 2, below, shows how pipe routing affects installation arrangements in actual systems. Figure 3, below, shows possible installation arrangements typical of those provided with instructions for installers.
