The CostGard™ Condensate Drain Seal is applicable to draw-through and blow-through heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) units. Most HVAC systems are of the draw-through type.
Draw-Through
The draw-through CostGard™ Condensate Drain Seal is applicable to all draw-through heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) units, including homes with heat pumps or electric furnaces and virtually all commercial and industrial units. It is also applicable to any air conditioning system designed within the parameters defined below:
- DRAW-THROUGH AIR CONDITIONER: unitary or split
- COOLING CAPACITY: up to 100+ tons
- DRAIN SIZES: 3/4” to 2” diameter
- DRAIN PAN PRESSURES: to a negative 5” of water gage (w.g.)
- INDOOR AND OUTDOOR LOCATIONS
- CLIMATES: hot & humid to cold & dry
Blow-Through
The blow-through CostGard™ Condensate Drain Seal applies to all blow-through heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) units, including homes with gas furnaces and commercial and industrial units. It is also applicable to any air conditioning system designed within the parameters defined below:
- BLOW-THROUGH AIR CONDITIONER: unitary or split
- COOLING CAPACITY: up to 100+ tons
- DRAIN SIZES: 3/4” to 2” diameter
- DRAIN PAN PRESSURES: to a positive 5” of water gage (w.g.)
- INDOOR AND OUTDOOR LOCATIONS
- CLIMATES: hot & humid to cold & dry
